The First 38 is an agile offshore cruise 12 metres that can accommodate even ten crew members.
The hull design, drawn to this project by Jean Berret, made it possible to reconcile fast lines and comfortable interior spaces (8 beds) with three double cabins (one forward and two aft), two single bunks in the square, kitchen stove 2 fires and oven doors, cockpit fridge, double sink, wc 2 135 lt local one manual and one electric, chart table and the center square. The full forms of the hull make him focus on the downwind, but the hull performs well even to Windward. The deck is almost flush deck and large sail area makes it an agile boat even in light winds.
