The International 806 is a sailing yacht that has been able to assert itself on the market for decades. Built in 1978, laminate in good condition, small optical quirks. In 2021 the boat is thoroughly modernized:
Underwater hull is completely renovated – hull below the waterline and keel is sanded, keel additionally derusted and smoothed with epoxy filler. The entire underwater hull received protective tapping, two layers of epoxy-based Interprotect, followed by two coats of antifouling VC Offshore (antifouling renewed in 2024). Furthermore, the following equipment has been installed or installed:
B&G chartplotter Vulcan 7, B&G Triton (log, wind and depth sounder), autopilot Simrad TP 22, cable-bus connected
AQUA Signal three-color LED and Anker LED with permissible, electrical installation with several 12V and USB sockets on Philippi components with deep discharge protection, two 100 Ah AGM batteries are monitored by the Victron battery monitor with Bluetooth.

The boat had a two-cylinder petrol engine with Sail Drive, the petrol engine has been replaced by a 2kW electric motor and drives the original Sail Drive with folding screw.
