Sparkman And Stephens 48' (1974) For sale

The CAP MED YACHT Consulting team is pleased to offer for sale this magnificent
aluminum sloop of 48 feet built by the yard Sparkman & Stephen in 1974 based on an extrapolation of the famous Swan 48.
The originality lies in a flush deck teak deck created by its last owner in 2023-2024. The hull of this racing-cruiser, identical to the Swan, provides performance, comfort at sea, and strength, particularly due to its AG4 aluminum hull.
The order for this unit was placed by Mr. Gaston Deffere in 1974. This unit has won numerous regattas and was also used by the Glénans after 1980 as a training boat. The boat has also served for educational and scientific projects. It has sailed on several seas around the globe and has crossed the Atlantic many times. It is now part of the French maritime heritage. The boat is in the process of obtaining BIP (Heritage Interest Boat) certification.
