In 2000, the French architect Oliver Petit designed the Sun 2000, a small sailing cabin cruiser by Jeanneau whose water lines are reminiscent of those of a Mini 6.50. Squared stern, maximum beam set back and vertical bow starboard are the characteristics of this hull suitable for club racing and coastal cruising.
