History of the Franck Roy Shipyard
The Franck Roy shipyard was founded in 1998 by Franck Roy, a passionate enthusiast of boats and vintage cars. Initially trained as a marine carpenter, Franck Roy worked for more than ten years at Sysba Marine and Latitude 46 before creating his own shipyard. The shipyard quickly became known for its neo-classical sailboats, combining traditional aesthetics and modern technologies. In 2019, the shipyard was taken over by Romuald Tuffery, a young Vendée entrepreneur, who wished to modernize the processes while preserving the know-how and DNA of the shipyard. Despite challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the shipyard continues to produce high-quality boats, appreciated for their design and performance.
Why is this Solenn 23 interesting to buy?
The Solenn 23 is an exceptional sailboat, ideal for sailing enthusiasts thanks to its neo-classical design and modern equipment. Its design by architects Alain Mortain and Yannis Mavrikios, as well as its construction by the shipyard Roy Franck Construction Navale, make it a safe choice for coastal or inland water navigation enthusiasts. Its spacious cockpit and high-quality equipment offer optimal comfort for life on board. More details and pictures on xboat.uk
