Ketch construction in offshore steel of the Le Sagien type, built by Etablissement Petre (France).
The hull was built in 1981, but the boat was not completed and launched until 1996 by its second owner.
The boat has been prepared for a long voyage and sails from France to the Caribbean.
She was then bought by her penultimate owner in 2007, who equipped her for long sailings with friends.
Entrusted to its last and current owner, ABITIBI crosses the Pacific from east to west and from west to east.
After a passage through Patagonia, the boat crosses the South Atlantic and is currently in France/Mediterranean.
