Snovit (Sally IV)
Designed by Jac. M Iversen in Norway in fall 1921.
Drawing / design approved 31 December 1921 by the Swedish Sailing organization. In March the hull was ready and in July 1922 she sailed fron Soon (close south of Oslo) to Gothenburg for racing in the SKq30 class. She is built in pine with Lead keel
The measurement: Length is 11.90 mt and 1.63 mm in width, that makes her the narrowest in the Sqm 30 class. Her sister ship, built th year before is measured to 164 cm.. Keel goes 150 cm from waterline, with a total weight of less than 2 000 kilo. Mast is now about 12 metres.
The boat had a major refitting in 2005. The entire boat, and must has been just repainted and the boat hull checked. Snovit is in excellent condition and has no renovation work needed
