Galeon Caprice 26 (1998) For sale

We are selling our Galeon Caprice 26 as we want to expand. The berth in the Marina Wendtorf near Kiel can be taken over by arrangement.

The Galeon Caprice 26 is a classic and exceptionally spacious motor cruiser. Despite its compact dimensions, it offers a surprising amount of space, a well-thought-out layout and numerous possibilities of use - ideal for relaxed weekends, longer trips or family holidays on the water.

The boat is powered by a Volvo Penta KAD 300A/DG-G with 285 hp. Engine and drive were installed in 2006 and currently have around 1,326 operating hours. The powerful diesel engine, combined with the Duoprop drive, makes the boat planing effortlessly, offering a good combination of performance and economy. The machine was serviced annually.

Manoeuvring is particularly comfortable: the Galeon has a bow thruster and a Dockmate yacht controller. This allows important functions to be operated remotely, which is a great help, especially when putting on and taking off. This means that the boat can also be used alone without any problems.

The spacious cockpit is practically designed and offers pleasant access to the boat. The cockpit upholstery was reupholstered in 2023. A tarpaulin made in 2024 with adjustable stainless steel poles reliably protects the outdoor area. The previous tarpaulin is also available and can be used, for example, for winter storage. In addition, a larger cockpit table belongs to the boat.

The bright interior gives a very generous feeling of space for a boat of this size. Large windows ensure a good all-round view while driving and allow plenty of daylight into the lockable cabin. If necessary, all windows can be closed opaquely.

The salon offers comfortable seating and lounging areas. The upholstery was renewed in 2022, the carpet followed in 2024. The small galley is equipped with a diesel stove, fridge and sink.

An additional underfloor cabin is also available. Since we didn't need them as a place to sleep, another refrigerator and shelves were installed there. The area can be converted back into a sleeping cabin at any time. The right mattress is available and belongs to the boat.

The separate sanitary area has a sink and an electric toilet. The toilet unit was renewed in 2022. The owner's cabin offers enough space for two people and has side window hatches as well as an opening deck window.
