D’ARTAGNAN is a high-performance Open 50 sailing yacht, built by ALP COMPOSITES and designed by the renowned naval architects BERRET RACOUPEAU. Launched in 2002 and extensively refitted in 2013, 2022, and 2025, she is presented in outstanding racing condition and fully ready for competitive offshore sailing.
Designed for single-handed and double-handed offshore racing, D’ARTAGNAN offers exceptional performance, reliability, and ease of handling. Her optimized deck layout and ergonomic cockpit enable efficient maneuvering in demanding conditions. She has already proven her capabilities with a strong 4th place finish in the Route du Rhum 2022.
Constructed in advanced carbon and glass composite, she delivers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio for maximum speed. Equipped with a canting keel and twin rudders, she ensures outstanding stability and control at high speeds. Her carbon rig (Z SPAR mast and NORDIC boom) combined with a powerful sail plan (up to 190 m² upwind / 350 m² downwind) guarantees top-tier performance.
D’ARTAGNAN features a full suite of modern navigation electronics, including NKE and SIMRAD systems, autopilots, radar, and advanced navigation software, making her ideal for offshore and transoceanic racing.
Her interior is lightweight and functional, designed for performance sailing, with multiple berths, a central navigation station, and a compact galley—perfect for extended offshore passages.
The 2025 refit includes a new engine, upgraded rigging, renewed deck hardware, and modern energy systems such as solar panels and a hydro generator. D’ARTAGNAN represents a rare opportunity on the Open 50 market—fully optimized, competitive, and race-ready.
