The Hanse 311 is a successful sailing yacht designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co, built between 2000 and 2006 by the Hanse Yacht shipyard in Greifswald. The model is considered the shipyard's first large, independent breakthrough and combines sporty sailing characteristics with a high level of comfort. Main specifications:

Sailing characteristics & handling:
The yacht has a 7/8 rig with two spreader pairs without backstages. A defining feature of all Hanse yachts is the standard self-tacking jib, which, in combination with the large mainsail, makes cruising in single-handed operation or with a small crew extremely effortless. According to yacht test reports, it convinces with agile steering behaviour and good upwind characteristics. Living comfort & layout:
Below deck, the Hanse 311 offers an astonishing amount of space for a ship of this size thanks to the wide hull and a headroom of approx. 1.85 m:
Cabins:
Two separate double cabins (foredeck and starboard aft cabin) with doors offer fixed berths for 4 people, expandable up to 6 seats via the saloon sofas.
Expansion:
Classic, maritime interior design made of mahogany or cherry plywood.
Equipment:
Kitchen with gas stove, oven and insulated cooler on port side as well as a separate navigation table. A wet room with pump toilet is located to port aft.
