Owner speaks : After 50 years of sailing, 8 monohulls and a catamaran, we decided to buy a Trawler to sail the northern countries: Scotland, Shetlands, Faroes, Norway and eventually Iceland. We bought the boat in July 2023 in Dubrovnik and brought it to Lavrio, south-east of Athens, where we undertook the maintenance and preparation work for our trip. Unfortunately, my wife died suddenly in November 2023. After some hesitation, I decided to keep the boat and sail for a season to bring Iota back to France. I sailed for 4 months, with many stops. Excellent boat, comfortable, safe and quiet. When I arrived in Port Saint Louis du Rhone, I decided to put her up for sale because the sailing programme I had initially planned was no longer feasible. So I put IOTA up for sale, which was a very difficult choice not to have a boat any more, but that's life, you have to adapt. All the maintenance and upgrades were carried out in December 2024, and the boat is ready to go.
