The Ostrea 700 is emblematic of Ocqueteau's historical know-how in fishing boats. It is intended for seasoned fishermen who wish to practice their activity all year round in good conditions of comfort and safety.
The inboard diesel engine of 230 or 265 hp is placed in the center of the cockpit. With a lower centre of gravity than a speedboat, the boat is more stable and allows a higher cruising speed as soon as the sea is rough.
The in-line shaft transmission limits maintenance and, added to the diesel engine and the quality of the infused hull, allows for great fuel savings with controlled consumption.
The steering from the rear of the cockpit to the tiller with the dual control(2), the livewell(2) with water regeneration, the rod storage in the cockpit and cabin are all elements that anglers appreciate.
The aft door option unifies the space between the wheelhouse and the cockpit with three sliding doors. The large closed storage space below the helm station can be converted into an extra bed with chemical toilet (marine toilet optional).
Facilitating all movements on board, the deck of the Ostrea 700 in walk-around incorporates two wide side decks on the port and starboard side and protective balconies. The rear and side benches are foldable to keep as much space as possible in fishing mode and to have a convivial corner at anchor.
