Italian excellence since time immemorial, synonymous with freedom and luxury, RIO YACHTS presented a new product in the year of its anniversary: DAYTONA 46.
The DAYTONA range was launched in 2020 with DAYTONA 34. A victim of its own success, the entire production sold out in the months following the model's presentation at the Genoa Boat Show. This model seeks to meet a new market demand: that of an open, practical and sporty boat, ideal for short excursions, favouring visible spaces rather than spaces below deck, while offering dynamic and recreational services.
RIO YACHTS has materialized these requirements by creating DAYTONA 46. This model was designed by one of the greatest Italian designers, Marino Alfani, who perfected the concept, the bodywork and the internal spaces, even going as far as engineering, in collaboration with the shipyard's technical office.
Here are the main features: walkaround and central console, ample space on board thanks to a limitless cockpit, ease of movement on deck in complete safety, in other words a boat designed for conviviality, pleasure and relaxation.
A 15-metre boat with remarkable and recreational performance, its maximum speed exceeds 40 knots. It can be equipped with 3 outboard motors as well as 2 diesel inboard engines. It has aerodynamic and symmetrical lines. The wrap-around windshield provides perfect visibility. The slender bow reflects a design with a strong personality.
At the stern, the cockpit is ample, with a generous sundeck that can contain a tender. The swim deck, also spacious in the version with outboard motors, can accommodate the tenderlift. On the left and right, it is possible to open two splendid large terraces overlooking the sea, constituting a considerable contribution to the already large space of the cockpit and offering a unique connection with the sea.
Fully retractable, the cockpit table can accommodate six people comfortably.
In the center, a spacious open-air galley separates the cockpit from the driving area.
Technological, functional and practical, it is topped by a comfortable, sporty and light bimini, which is mounted on two legs (the opposite of the four legs present on the competition's boats), offering good stability and generous coverage. The addition of an electric roof to the bimini and two Arabian-style awnings at the bow and stern makes it easy to manage the on-board requirements for shade and sun.
The passage at the bow is ample, convenient and safe. A few steps are enough to reach the double sofa at the bow, in front of the sundeck on the deckhouse.
The interior is characterized by a bright and neat open space. The cabins can optionally be separated by a movable wall to create essential privacy and exclusive comfort when there are guests on board. The selected materials that the shipowner can customise express to the maximum the quality that only Made in Italy can offer.
