By multiplying the air inlets under the hull, the Air Step® 2 marks an important evolution of this technology that increases performance, safety and comfort while sailing. By reducing fuel consumption, acceleration is faster and speed is maximized. This latest generation of patented and tested offers exceptional seaworthiness, easy passage between waves, linear acceleration and smooth and safe turns. The Hylas 54 is a world-class blue cruise designed by German Frers and built to exacting standards by Queen Long Marine. Renowned for its powerful performance, sleek lines and offshore capabilities, the 54 remains one of the most sought-after sailboats in its class. With a long fin keel and suspended rudder, it offers excellent directional stability and seaworthiness, while its cutter mast provides a versatile and easily manageable sail plan for small crews. Its robust construction, which includes Twaron aramid fiber reinforcements and vinylester resins, ensures durability and confidence in demanding offshore conditions. Below deck, the Hylas 54 impresses with a spacious and cleverly designed interior that balances comfort for life on board with practical functionality. The three-cabin, two-bathroom layout features a luxurious master stateroom aft with a queen bed in the middle, ample storage space, and an en-suite bathroom with separate shower. The saloon offers a bright and welcoming space to entertain or relax, with finely crafted teak finishes and abundant natural light. A well-equipped galley, a forward-facing sailing station, and numerous sea-ready details—such as deep lockers, marine berths, and secure handles—make the Hylas 54 a proven choice for cruisers looking for comfort, safety, and elegance at sea. ASIA is a rare example: a Hylas 54 with VAT paid, flying the Italian flag, currently moored in the Adriatic Sea. Designed by German Frers and built by Queen Long Marine, the Hylas 54 is widely considered one of the best blue cruising sailboats in its class, offering exceptional offshore capabilities, refined styling, and a luxurious interior. With its cutter mast, long fin keel and suspended rudder, it is just as at ease crossing oceans as it is sailing in the Mediterranean. ASIA has just completed an extensive refit in 2023–2024, placing it well above its peers. Upgrades include a new 12mm teak deck, all new fixed equipment, fresh white paint on the mast and boom, and a fully overhauled engine and generator. The hull and deck were repainted, and the bottom was removed and finished with a new barrier and antifouling layer. Further upgrades include a new propeller shaft, a new stainless steel protection strip, new navigation and boom lights, fresh bilge paint, new window frames and new refrigeration. The diesel tanks have been professionally cleaned. Please note: the brokerage fee is not included in the asking price. EXCHANGES WITH SMALLER SAILING BOATS ARE EVALUATED
