Il Dufour 1800 è una delle tante barche “riuscite” realizzate negli Anni ’80 da questo prestigioso cantiere francese. Nato per la crociera, lo scafo rivela tuttavia la consulenza dell’esperto regatante Laurent Cordelle: è veloce in tutte le andature e ha una buona maneggevolezza al timone. Realizzato in vetroresina con coperta in balsa, il Dufour 1800 è armato a 7/8 con una randa di ampia metratura. L’attrezzatura in coperta è semplice, ma completa, la tuga tutta finestrata. Gli interni pur avendo un’altezza limitata (1,75 m) sono ben suddivisi: una zona “giorno” con angolo cottura, carteggio e due divani a murata; una zona intermedia con armadietto e locale wc e quindi la cabina di prua.
