A historic shipyard founded in 1961 on the shores of Lake Iseo (in Lombardy, Italy), RY strengthens its presence in the 50 to 60-foot yacht sector with the new SPORT COUPE 56.
The SPORT COUPÉ 56 is a completely new boat that enhances and integrates the technical, aesthetic, comfort and innovation elements that have confirmed the success of the previous models in the range. Built in avant-garde materials with the Italian craftsmanship characteristic of RY production and rich in technical equipment, this extremely bright hard top adopts a sporty style.
A true open, it can be closed in its entirety: here is a yacht where the internal and external spaces dialogue continuously with an omnipresent elegance and sportiness. Practical to use, it offers the spaces and lines of a real open, with generous spaces.
Studied by Marino Alfani in collaboration with the shipyard's internal projects department, the design plays on the details of the stitching and the quality finishes that give life to comfortable environments in consideration of conviviality and Made in Italy. The internal and outdoor spaces of SPORT COUPE 56 are characterised by their close ties: environments dedicated to the pleasure of being together.
At the stern, the boat has a large folding platform with garage (for the dinghy or jet-ski) and a retractable barbecue, a large cockpit with sunbathing sofa, modular tables and an electric awning allowing you to enjoy the sun and the sea in company.
A distinguishing feature of the new boat and a RY feature proven in other models in the range, the glass door between the cockpit and the helm allows the cockpit to be completely closed to achieve maximum comfort and extend relaxation times. When not in use, the door disappears into the ceiling, giving the boat the look and accessibility of a real open. All these features make the SPORT COUPE 56 a boat suitable for all four seasons.

An extremely bright dining area is located behind the door, including a large sofa, glass tables, marble top, a retractable TV and a double driving station by the Besenzoni brand.
The driving position offers excellent manoeuvrability and the large windscreen offers a wide and total visual. The suspended instrument panel has two multifunctions with 12 touchscreens to manage all the on-board instruments: from cameras to the pilot and from sonar to radar and GPS.
The Sport Coupé 56 is powered by two MAN I6 800 2 x 800 HP engines allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 35 knots for a cruising speed of 30 knots, while offering a contained fuel consumption for its category.
The wide walkarounds make it safe to get to the large sundeck at the bow. Regarding the internal spaces, priority was given to spaces, volumes, habitability and compartmentalization, which have always been characteristic elements of the site. Functionality, versatility and the search for aesthetics come together in modular layouts.
Indeed, the layout offers several options: two/three cabins, garage or crew cabin depending on the shipowner's requirements. The galley is located in the center of the boat and represents the central point between the outside and the inside, which creates a vast and unique environment. The glass ceiling offers exceptional brightness. Here, the kitchen is highlighted as it is considered a moment of pleasure, relaxation and entertainment for the shipowner and his friends/guests.
The cabins are spacious and comfortable: the bay windows offer sailors the feeling of belonging to the sea. A myriad of material choices are available to customize the SPORT COUPE 56.
