Yes; SAGA C is a Riva 60 Corsaro, yet built in 2016.
This 1988 beauty was taken back to where she originally built, dismantled down to the last screw, and totally re manufactured. Still not from scratch. As the shell (hull + superstructure) was kept after its glorious and evergreen line. But so good the big activity it was carried out: Mtu engines, generator, gyro Stabilizer (!!), up/down stern platform (!!), megayacht-strong gangway, superyacht-like side folding bathing platform just to address the tecnhicals. And totally new interiors, paint.. exterior fornitures, woodwork, teak ... the whole thing a yacht is made of comes from 2016.
A fantastic photo book from those rebuild days is available.
The Vessel has this cozy cockpit, exactly as you'd expect it to be on a modern open fast boat. Iconic the endless bow deck, making the very shape of this famous model. Villa-style interiors as you walk down the stairs to lower deck and a large open space welcomes you: a galley + a pantry + a living room are merged together. Walking on lies the night area, with a double cabin and a first head. Then up the very front of the boat a super master cabin with its toilet room on one side, separate from the palatial Turkish hammam, that's supposed to be the "shower room".
Still in brand new conditions with very low working hours as the Vessel only served as daily boat so far.
Private, and Vat paid.
What we have here is the perfect exetension for your worldwide cruising superyacht, for your villa in St Tropez.
Or, ideally, as a standalone mediterranean hopping family boat.
There's more than one reason tha will make you want SAGA C when you're seeking after elegance, class, heritage and overall quaity.
The best of the workind come from the celebrative plate inside the Vessel, penned by no other than mr Carlo Riva, himself:
" "My first thanks go to the skilled craftsmen of Sarnico, who, in the wake of the restoration tradition, not only brought Black Corsair #04 back to life, but also reinterpreted it in a modern key, giving it new charm. Now, as then, they worked with passion, dedication, and expertise. Values that still distinguish the Riva nautical brand today. My second thanks go to its owner, Mr. XXXXX XXXXX, for appreciating the quality of this historic and well-executed boat, which will undoubtedly give him great emotions." " Ing.
