This Cantieri di Pisa Akhir 22 represents one of the most authentic expressions of the great Italian nautical tradition, reinterpreted through a complete 2023-2024 refit carried out according to modern and professional construction standards.
Built in 1987 in triple lamellar mahogany, this unit has been completely transformed at Uzmar Shipbuilding in Istanbul through a structural, technical and aesthetic intervention of the highest level. Hull and bulwarks were treated with e-glass and epoxy, teak was completely replaced in 2023 and all seacocks, axles, bushings and hydraulic lines were completely renewed.
The classic Cantieri di Pisa lines maintain all the charm of the golden age of Italian yachting, but with modern technical content and an extremely more reliable setting today. The new redesigned flybridge superstructure offers large convivial spaces with double dining tables that can be combined for 10 guests, a bar area equipped with refrigerator/freezer, electric grill, new bimini top and large sunbathing areas both forward and on the fly. The oversized teak bathing platform also houses an exclusive ultra-light OC 330 full carbon tender with Yamaha 9.9 HP.
From a mechanical point of view, the boat is in particularly interesting condition thanks to the 2 1050 HP GM Detroit Diesel 12V92TA completely overhauled in 2023, today with about 100 hours SMOH. The cruise is around 16.5 knots with consumption of about 180 liters / hour at 1650 rpm, a very competitive value for a planing 22 meters in this category.
With the UK flag, the next survey scheduled for 2028 and the last haulage carried out in March 2025, this Akhir 22 represents a rare opportunity for those looking for a great Italian classic completely updated and ready to sail.
Interior Description
The interiors of this Cantieri di Pisa Akhir 22 maintain the warm and timeless charm of large Italian wooden constructions, combining classic elegance, generous spaces and modern functionality resulting from the total 2023–2024 refit.
The layout has been designed to ensure real comfort both during private cruises and for use with guests on board for extended periods. The configuration includes a spacious master cabin, a VIP cabin and a guest cabin with en suite bathroom, as well as two independent crew cabins positioned forward and aft with respective dedicated services. Overall, the boat can accommodate up to 9 berths while maintaining an excellent separation between the crew area and the guest area.
The rooms immediately convey the feeling of solidity and construction quality typical of the Pisa Shipyards of the time: large volumes, precious woods and a setting designed for real navigation. The refit has also made it possible to integrate numerous technical updates and contemporary comforts without distorting the original character of the boat.
On board there is a WIFI connection via a long-range GSM antenna installed on the flybridge, supported by a double Teltonika LTE router, an ideal solution for navigation and prolonged stays.
Great attention has also been paid to the invisible but fundamental plant engineering part: new 1,800-liter HDPE tanks for fresh water and new capacities dedicated to black and gray water, completely renewed hydraulic systems and updated monitoring systems contribute to making this unit much more modern and reliable than an original configuration from the 80s.
