This yacht was developed as a fast weekend day/cruiser to be set sail by the family, but with the ability to compete in coastal regattas with a full crew. The layout of the deck reflects this aspect with the main sail controls located a short distance from the rudder position and grinder pedestals providing plenty of centralized power for cladding. An electric winch is provided for lifting the mainsail. A retractable bow bow allows for easy leeward navigation with asymmetrical spinnators. The hydraulic lifting bead, the anchor winch and all engine controls are driven from the rudder position. The carbon platform is built with dimensions similar to a Volvo 60 racing yacht that allows the use of second-hand test sails from union inventories. The facility was designed by High Modulus (NZ) Ltd.
