Description
The Balticat shipyard, formerly Hüttermann, builds sporty, ocean-going carbon fibre catamarans as well as catamarans for the discerning cruising sailor in northern Germany using high-tech epoxy vacuum infusion processes.
For 30 years, this German shipyard has been known for the high-quality production of cruising catamarans 12 - 15 m long in epoxy construction.
Since 2014, the shipyard has specialised in the construction of catamarans designed by the Australian design firm Schionning Designs.
Building No. 3 and the 1st ship of the official series production, no longer a prototype.
